Our Story
Kairos is a national Christian Resource Development group that has inspired a deeper understanding of biblical stewardship in over 1,700 ministries, resulting in more than $1.4 billion in fundraising. Ann Rauvola Bailey founded Kairos in 1989 and was its CEO until the fall of 2007 when current owners, Pastors Jeff Kjellberg and Keith Magnuson purchased the company. For over two decades, we have passionately helped faith communities realize their dreams for the sake of the Gospel and for the simple joy of giving and growing in Christ.
Foundational to our approach is the understanding that biblical stewardship is discipleship and that the involvement of people in a development process is at its center a spiritual journey.
Pastors Jeff Kjellberg and Keith Magnuson together bring over forty years of pastoral and organizational leadership to their roles. Beyond our executive staff based in St. Paul, Minnesota, Kairos has a team of full time consultants throughout the United States. We work with over 100 congregations and organizations a year in the areas of capital appeals, biblical stewardship and ministry development.
