Our approach incorporates the following stages:
Vision and Mission Discernment
Uniting people around the congregation's vision for ministry is essential in order to successfully develop short and long term financial resources. The first stage is to bring together key leaders and staff members for the purpose of solidifying the vision that has been developed for mission.
Resource Assessment
For a vision to take hold, it needs to be shared by the larger faith community. This stage brings that vision to a broad cross section of the congregation. The goal of this time of assessment is to educate people about the imagined plan, to identify key questions or concerns, and to gauge the initial levels of motivational and financial support for the vision.
Leadership Development
After the assessment process, council, staff and the newly recruited Capital Appeal leadership team members will be brought together to lay the foundation for the appeal effort. This is a time of spiritual and biblical grounding, equipping for the tasks ahead and confirming the vision and mission that will drive the effort.
Capital Appeal Funding Program
This stage will provide the opportunity for the church to move forward in identifying and realizing the resources needed to address its capital needs. The components of this stage will be uniquely customized to fit your congregation's culture and circumstance. Through creating effective communication tools, offering inspired gatherings, connecting mission and ministry to your capital needs and providing transformational opportunities for spiritual growth this stage opens the door for experiencing faithful response and commitment to your congregation's future.
